STUART WOOD'S REPRESENTATIVES CONTINUE TO ATTACK AND INSULT THE BAY CITY ROLLERS FAN BASE

A representative of Stuart Wood, who is currently attempting to take over the role of keeping the Bay City Rollers music "alive", after the sudden passing of Les McKeown in 2021, has taken to social media to attack fans attending a private event in Hawick celebrating the 70th birthday of the band's lead guitarist and former band mate Eric Faulkner.

This is the fourth year fans have gathered in the small mill town for what has become an annual event celebrating the solo music of Eric Faulkner and years of friendship within the fan community.

During the Saturday evening event, Eric Faulkner's birthday party, Stuart Wood's wife, Denise Wood took to social media with a tirade of strange accusations and insults to those in attendance  -- including incredibly unkind remarks about Mr. Faulkner.

"filthy, filthy disgusting human being "

"you will be trying to convince people he can sing"

Here are remarks made by people who follow and perpetuate Wood's camp aimed at the Bay City Rollers fan base.

"middle-aged pensioners stuck in a time warp"

"karma will get these cunts"

"Old hags meeting up for his 70th"

This is the very fan base who have attended and organized multiple fan events over the past 25+ years in the United States and United Kingdom. A fan base who travel all over the world to attend these events and keep the community thriving. The community most recently marched for the second year in a row in the 25th annual Tartan Day Parade in New York City.

This should be the very fan base any musician attempting to revive his role as a touring "Bay City Roller" should be engaging with, not constantly antagonizing and attacking.

Still Rollin - A Bay City Rollers Fan Community is hosting a 50th Year Anniversary next October in Edinburgh Scotland celebrating 50 years of Rollermania and friendship, an event that sold out in less than 10 minutes earlier this year.  This community also hosts a Bay City Rollers themed weekly four hour radio show that airs on TD1 Radio in the Borders of Scotland.
